Long Grove Confectionery's 32-oz. "brown bag" old fashioned apple pie is made with a perfectly flaky crust, packed full of freshly sliced apples, and smothered with just the right amount of spices to create a downright extraordinary pie.

One 32-oz. "brown bag" apple pie from Long Grove Confectionery

  1. Completely defrost pie.
  2. Remove plastic wrap. Leave pie in paper bag.
  3. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 60 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven; slit top of bag and peel back to expose top of crust of pie.
  5. Return to oven for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Serve with ice cream.

    Best brown bag apple pie

    It's the best apple pie ever- love the crust! But way over priced I agree. You can buy it at Long Grove for $18! They are asking almost 4 times that.

    Excellent but Pricey

    This Apple pie is one of the best I've ever had. The only reason it is not five stars is the price. At a more reasonable price we'd definitely make it a consistent family dessert.

    Mom Would Be Proud

    Our Mom made the best apple pie on the planet so after she went home to be with the Lord we could never replicate the recipe because as you know, Southern girls don't write them down! Long Grove Apple Pie is the next best thing and my sister and I are so glad we placed our order. Shout out to Lou Malnati's for making this sweet treat available to LA girls.

    Best Ever!

    Better than homemade. Ordered pie for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit. Loved the crunch of the top crust and apples were seasoned perfectly. Thanks for an awesome dessert!
