Vienna Beef Hotdog kit instructions

Cooking the Hotdogs

  • Fill a 4-quart pot with one and a half quarts of water (48 ounces)
  • Bring the water to a boil, turn the water down until it stops boiling, or a slight simmer. (DO NOT COOK HOT DOGS IN BOILING WATER)
  • Place desired number of hot dogs into water and cook uncovered for 20 minutes.

Steam the hot dog buns:

  • Do not steam buns until hot dogs have cooked for 20 minutes
  • Place package of hot dog buns into a microwave. (If fewer buns are desired, put them into a plastic bag and loosely close bag)
  • Heat buns on high for 2 to 2 ½ minutes. (If fewer buns are desired, heat for 45-60 seconds)
  • Be cautious when opening, escaping steam and hot dog buns will be extremely hot.
  • Nestle the hot dog in a steamed poppy seed bun.

Then pile on the toppings in this order:

  1. Yellow Mustard
  2. Bright Green Relish
  3. Fresh Chopped Onions
  4. Two Tomato Wedges
  5. A Kosher Pickle Spear
  6. Two Sport Peppers
  7. A dash of Celery Salt

Lou Malnati's Pizza Cooking Instructions

If your pizzas are still frozen when they arrive or are cool to the touch, place them in the freezer and bake them within 30 days.

For the ultimate pizza, bake from a frozen state according to the following instructions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and lift pizza out of the pan. Wipe away condensation from the pan and lightly oil the pan. Return pizza to the pan and bake on the middle rack, or until cheese melts and crust becomes crispy and golden brown. Baking times vary for each type of pizza and length of bake time is indicated on the lid of each pizza. If the pizza has thawed decrease bake time by 5 minutes. Microwave cooking is not recommended.

    Delivery

Loved ordering pizza from where I was born and grew up.Pizza and other foods fantastic .Was ordering constantly but UPS delivery in our area is terrible.Couldn’t deal with rude, obnoxious, lazy drivers.Tracking them and still lying that wasn’t home received thawed smelly food next day in 90 degree heat.Just go to Lou’s when in Chicago.

My Parents Missed Lous so Santa Delivers Every Christmas

Pizza in Arkansas can't hold a candle to my hometown. When I saw Lous delivers, my retired parents had forgotten what real pizza was. I have also sent Portillo's and other products. Yet to be disappointed.

My Chicago friend sent me a heart shaped pizza and a tin of Garrett’s cheese popcorn! The pizza here in northern Arizona SUCKS!

    Not Quite What We Expected

The pizza was quite small, enough for two people, the ribs were just ok, and the hot dogs were probably the best with a nice snap. We were hoping for a larger pizza and the relish for the hot dogs looked radio active it was so green. Probably won't order again.
