Vienna Beef's all-beef hot dog, nestled in a poppy seed bun, and loaded with toppings is a flavor combination that can't be beat! But remember the number one rule: Chicagoans don't add ketchup. Ever.

This Vienna Beef Hot Dog Kit includes:

  • 10 Vienna hot dogs
  • 10 poppy seed buns
  • 9 oz. of yellow mustard
  • 6 oz. of bright green relish
  • 6 oz. of spicy sport peppers
  • Celery salt
Cooking the hot dogs:
-Fill a 4-quart pot with one and a half quarts of water (48 ounces).
-Bring the water to a boil, turn the water down until it stops boiling, or a slight simmer. (DO NOT COOK HOT DOGS IN BOILING WATER).
-Place desired number of hot dogs into water and cook uncovered for 20 minutes.

Steam the hot dog buns:
-Do not steam buns until hot dogs have cooked for 20 minutes
-Place package of hot dog buns into a microwave. (If fewer buns are desired, put them into a plastic bag and loosely close bag)
-Heat buns on high for 2 to 2 ½ minutes. (If fewer buns are desired, heat for 45-60 seconds)
-Be cautious when opening, escaping steam and hot dog buns will be extremely hot.

Nestle the hot dog in a steamed poppy seed bun. Then pile on the toppings in this order:

1) Yellow Mustard
2) Bright Green Relish
3) Fresh Chopped Onion*
4) Two Tomato Wedges*
5) A Kosher Pickle Spear*
6) Two Sport Peppers
7) A Dash of Celery Salt

    North to Alaska!

    My son serves in the United States Coast Guard - Seward, Alaska. Last week you were able to get a Vienna Beef Hot Dog kit delivered in less than 48 hours!! All arrived in good condition. Only 'complaint' was nowhere near enough green relish!

    Finally an Authentic Vienna frank Hotdog in my own home!

    I Ordered the Vienna beef hotdog kit and it was exactly what I've been dying for. Salem Oregon does not have any good restaurants that make a high-quality authentic Chicago dog. It's been years since I've had a great one. I went online and I found this kit and it allowed me to fix my own Chicago dogs on par with the quality of Chicago dogs I used to get from Hotdog heaven in Orlando Florida. If you want high-quality Chicago style dogs this is a great way to get one. I'll likely be back to get another kit when I go through this one. It was exactly what I needed on national Hotdog day!

    Good but....

    Good stuff. The dogs and buns were awesome. It was disappointing to find the relish and peppers in a sealed bag instead of jars. It also did not include celery salt.

    Not Enough Relish

    Hot dogs and buns super as I remember but relish in a sealed package and not enough for all the dogs. Disappointed.
