Vienna Beef's all-beef hot dog, nestled in a poppy seed bun, and loaded with toppings is a flavor combination that can't be beat! But remember the number one rule: Chicagoans don't add ketchup. Ever.

This Vienna Beef Hot Dog Kit includes:

  • 10 Vienna hot dogs
  • 10 poppy seed buns
  • 9 oz. of yellow mustard
  • 6 oz. of bright green relish
  • 6 oz. of spicy sport peppers
  • Celery salt
Cooking the hot dogs:
-Fill a 4-quart pot with one and a half quarts of water (48 ounces).
-Bring the water to a boil, turn the water down until it stops boiling, or a slight simmer. (DO NOT COOK HOT DOGS IN BOILING WATER).
-Place desired number of hot dogs into water and cook uncovered for 20 minutes.

Steam the hot dog buns:
-Do not steam buns until hot dogs have cooked for 20 minutes
-Place package of hot dog buns into a microwave. (If fewer buns are desired, put them into a plastic bag and loosely close bag)
-Heat buns on high for 2 to 2 ½ minutes. (If fewer buns are desired, heat for 45-60 seconds)
-Be cautious when opening, escaping steam and hot dog buns will be extremely hot.

Nestle the hot dog in a steamed poppy seed bun. Then pile on the toppings in this order:

1) Yellow Mustard
2) Bright Green Relish
3) Fresh Chopped Onion*
4) Two Tomato Wedges*
5) A Kosher Pickle Spear*
6) Two Sport Peppers
7) A Dash of Celery Salt

    the texture on the dogs were very hard to chew we boiled some steamed others to no avail was disappointed ; first with us when ordering from u all will try again in near future thank u

    Good not great

    Almost everything was great. For that much money, I don't know why the peppers and relish came in a vacuum sealed bag. Now, my dad cannot eat 10 hot dogs at once. It would be nice if, for the cost, the relish and peppers came in actual containers. Other than that, an exciting item to receive!
