This Vienna Italian Beef Kit & 2 Lou's Pizzas includes:

  • 2 9" Lou Malnati's deep dish pizzas
  • 2 pounds of seasoned Vienna Italian beef
  • 2 pounds of gravy
  • 8 Italian rolls
  • 6-oz. of hot giardiniera
Stove top heating instructions
  1. Place entire contents of gravy bucket in large sauce pan.
  2. Heat until it reaches 180°.DO NOT BOIL. This takes about 20 minutes.
  3. Open beef pack and separate slices. This creates a more flavorful and tender sandwich.
  4. Add enough slices for 2-3 sandwiches at a time and heat for about 1 minute. Add beef in small increments as needed.
  5. Take temperature of gravy while heating beef. The temperature should stay between 165° and 180° for best results.
French Bread:
  • Place rolls on cookie pan 2" apart and bake at 450° for 5 minutes.
Microwave heating instructions
  1. Place entire contents of gravy bucket in microwave safe bowl and heat for 5 minutes. This includes any solids or spices.
  2. Stir contents and then heat for another 4 minutes while separating the beef slices. The temperature should be 180°. DO NOT BOIL.
  3. Take bowl out of microwave and add enough beef for 2-3 sandwiches and stir in for about a minute. Take temperature as you add beef.
  4. If the temperature falls below 165° remove beef, return to microwave and reheat for 2 minutes.
    5. Food Safety Caution: The beef and gravy in this package must be at 40° or colder upon receiving it.

    Disappointed

    Ordered for years! Smaller amounts for higher price. Shrink wrapping fine but not the same amount of jus/meat. Giardiniera spoiled and tasted bad and no green peppers! Pizzas are good but definitely smaller. :joy:

    The Best of Chicago's Go To Food either for Comfort or after a night out on the town, order this!

    WOW!!!! I ordered the Italian Beef with two Lou's pizzas (1- Sausage & the other Spinach), and they knocked the socks off my San Diego friends! It was hilarious to see and snap pics of their reactions to Chicago's deliciousness! I had to yell at them and crutch over with a broken heel to Save that Au Jus for me or else! They were talking about how they were going to snag the rest of my beef with all the Au Jus left, and that didn't happen! I happily ate it over 2020 Memorial Day Weekend, and then melancholy set it...until I remembered that I still had a Lou's Spinach in the deep freezer!I'm still laughing at their greediness! Proves up that Chitown is the best when it comes to food. Case closed. San Diego's food is meh, mezza mezza at best! We'll be ordering again soon! Thanks so much Tastes of Chicago for the perfect food, perfect shipping, and it was on time sans one problem at all. The food was frozen cold as it should be and fantastic tasting as it should be!     This Kit Is A Great Value

    Now, many will think this kit is a bit on the pricey side, however, my wife and I recently spent an extended weekend in Vegas. I shipped in 2 Lou's Pizzas (spinach) and a Vienna Italian Beef kit. We stayed at the Vdara and got a suite which included a full kitchen with an oven. We arrived on a Friday, and the food was there waiting for us. We were able to eat the entire weekend on the pizzas and the beef. In fact, after an Uber ride to Wal Mart for eggs, we had beef filled omlettes each morning. We only ate out once, so the kit saved us a bundle. Plus did I mention Vegas?!?

    Taste of Chicago

    Pizza and real Italian Roast Beef. I have missed what is true deep dish pizza and felt I needed to order once again from the famed Lou Malnatti's. Once I ordered, I waited the two painstaking days for delivery (makes 45 minutes in the restaurant seem like nothing!). Once it arrived, I took the next day off to thoroughly enjoy my anticipated pizza. As always, I was not disappointed. Thank you Lou Malnatti's for delivering a great pizza and a Taste of Chicago, the city I love the most.

    Vienna Beef and Pizza Combo

    Was very good - but I think I will go back to our old favorite of Portillo's beef with my next order. Pizza awesome as usual!
